Shout Section provides ceremony musicians, cocktail-hour jazz, elegant dinner music, big-band swing, Motown, oldies, current pop, vocal features, MC service, sound reinforcement, and music during band breaks. We tailor the band size, repertoire, attire, announcements, and first dances to your celebration.

MUSIC FOR THE WHOLE WEDDING DAY

Ceremony music can include strings, acoustic guitar, flute, trumpet, or other soloists. Cocktail hour and dinner can feature a jazz combo or the full band at a conversation-friendly volume. For the reception, we move from Sinatra, Bublé, and classic swing to Motown, oldies, and current pop. MC service, microphones, PA, and DJ music during breaks are available.

"Brett and Shout Section Big Band was the BEST part of our wedding (other than my wife of course). We were largely unsure about the cost but having a live band was very important to us, so we went for it. Brett, the whole time was easy to work and get along with, making adjustments and truly trying to understand and cater to what [our] perfect night would be. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding or event! Shout Section Big Band is made up of the top jazz and pop musicians in the Midwest. We have been featured in the Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine and have performed weddings at top venues in Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

Shout Section Big Band isn't limited to big band music. We have Classical music soloists for the ceremony (string players, acoustic guitar, flute & trumpet) and every type of music for the reception! Cocktail hour jazz, dinner music, big band swing, Motown & oldies band with horns, and current pop music... we have it all!

We include MC services and the use of our equipment in our quotes. We have great speakers and a compliment of microphones. In addition, if you'd like a little extra music before or after the band performs, we also have the capability to DJ recorded music from our collection or from your music device.

We're up for just about anything! Shout Section is a friendly group of the highest quality musicians who want your evening to be memorable, and we're excited if our music is even a small part of that.
